When it comes to the football, it helps to read as many stats and opinion pieces as possible. This hold especially true if you plan on gambling on the games. When you plunk your hard earned money down at online sportsbooks, it’s best to have every advantage possible.
In this article we want to feature 2 teams that we believe are underrated and may be a threat to their division and conference foes.
Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins are a group that will try to catch up to the Buffalo Bills and contend for the division title. Remember when these teams last met in Buffalo? Miami had the ball and a chance to win the game by running the ball. They were playing with a third-string quarterback at the time. For whatever reason, they avoided the run, and coach Mike McDaniels excels at that.
The Dolphins can act for the following reasons: First and foremost, they will work harder to have a more balanced offense. That will relieve quarterback Tua Tagovailoa of some of the pressure, which is number two. Because the Dolphins have Jaylen Waddle, Tyreek Hill, and Cedric Wilson at wide receiver — a group that is as talented as any in the league — it will ultimately depend on how healthy they are. Finally, they added an All-Pro cornerback, Jalen Ramsey, to pair with another, Xavien Howard, and hired Vic Fangio as their defensive coordinator. With those two and Fangio, who is your defense? There will be some commotion thanks to the Dolphins.
Cleveland Browns
The Browns may not win the division, but they will advance significantly for a few reasons. I’m giving Watson the benefit of the doubt because he can’t be as bad as he was the previous season. I’m going to be forgiving of the coach and the offensive coordinator. They are all under a lot of pressure, but they will all rise to the occasion and give Watson a successful year. The Browns’ running game, which is led by Nick Chubb, is also very strong. With Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore, who they acquired from the Jets, they have a strong receiving group.
In a trade with Minnesota, they acquired pass rusher Za’Darius Smith, who will pair up with Myles Garrett, who recorded 16 sacks last year, on defense. The Browns have significantly improved their defense, particularly up front, with the addition of defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson in free agency. This team is talented enough to compete in their division.
