>The Manx cat is a tailless cat originating on the Isle of Man, with a naturally occurring mutation that causes this unique physical characteristic. The original stock of Manx cats was brought to the island by British and Irish settlers in the late 17th century, and the breed has since been developed through selective breeding.

Manx cats come in all coat colors and patterns and can be either short-haired or long-haired. The most distinctive feature of the Manx breed is their lack of tail, but they are also known for their round heads, large eyes, and deep chests.

But don’t let their good looks fool you; these cats are also brilliant and very vocal. If you’re considering getting a Siamese, be prepared for a chatty feline friend who will have no problem telling you what she wants.

OSTRICHES

The largest and heaviest living bird, the ostrich, is native to Africa. These flightless birds are easily recognizable by their long necks, legs, and distinctive plumage. Ostriches are farmed for their meat and feathers, which are used in various products.
